I was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 20th, 1980, and since I can remember, I've been doing something artistic, usually drawing. Voted most artistic in my graduating high school class, I started college with aspirations of studying illustration with the hope of becoming a comic book artist. Soon after high school, I started working at a sign shop, fabricating various types of signage. It was here that I first discovered computer-created graphic design and soon moved to applying my artistic talent toward designing client work
Learning most of my skills on the job while also continuing my art education at school, in 2003 I moved to my current position as lead (read: only) designer at brand new Baltimore design house Total Image Graphics (TIG) where I've created work for a wide variety of client projects, including, but not limited to logos and identity packages, print advertising, signage, promotional materials, vehicle wraps and even some interior design. Since then, Total Image Graphics has grown, where I became the Creative Director, looking over a small team of graphic designers. TIG has a large client base in the restaurant industry where I have worked extensively with companies, helping them develop their brand from the ground up, from name creation, logo development, interior design, menus, advertising and signage. Basically, any visual aspect of the business that the end customer will see, we handle.
Since TIG is a full-service company, creating everything in-house, I have experience working on all aspects of the creation process for this type of work, from design and printing to fabrication and installation. I am highly proficient using the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) as well as illustration in a wide range of styles to accommodate a client's needs. As I interface directly with clients on a daily basis in a deadline-driven environment, I have honed my people skills to properly communicate with clients, translate their ideas to reality and deliver them work in a timely manner with which they are regularly pleased.
